Clubs and Organizations 

Board Game Club - Margi Masquelier 
Students have the opportunity to gather in an informal, non-competitive environment to play board games. Meets every other Tuesday in the Career Center.

Club President's Forum -  Joelle Broberg
 The Club President's Forum includes the presidents/leaders of all student organizations. This group will meet the first week of every quarter to exchange ideas on current projects, fund raising, calendars, recognition assemblies and local publicity.

DECA - Matt Erholtz
A marketing education organization where students apply the concepts they have learned in the classroom through competitions and other events.

El Pomar Youth in Community Service (EPYCS)
  A service organization that works to fundraise and donate matching grant money to local non-profit organizations. EPYCS meets every other Wednesday during lunch.

Evergreen Ambassadors - Joelle Broberg, Tim Carlin
Upper classmen mentor ninth grade students in violence prevention, an orientation to high school including lessons related to study skills, social activities, clubs, sports, and high school survival.

Evergreen Mountain Bike Team - Andrew Speers, Colin Booth, Melissa Archey
A competitive mountain bike team.  The team races teams across the state in a fall league.

FCA -Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) - Sponsor:  Coach Sellers
FCA is an interdenominational Christian organization based on sports that brings together athletically oriented fellow believers. A student leadership team directs FCA’s activities and emphasizes the importance of cooperation in both athletics and Christian servanthood. Meetings are held once a week during lunch.    

Gay Straight Alliance
An organization of GLBT students and their straight allies. Promotes understanding and diversity. Meets every Tuesday at lunch in room G307 

The Green Team Sponsor -  Cheryl Manning 
This club's mission is to promote environmental awareness and to help keep our school EVER...green!

Instrumental Music -  Wiley Cruse 
EHS has several different instrumental music programs in which may participate including Orchestra, Marching Band,  Concert Band and Jazz band. Please see Ms. Knight if you are interested in participating in any of these programs.

Interact Club - Cheryl Manning
Students learn community service through Evergreen Rotary. Meetings are Wednesdays at lunch in Mrs. Manning's room.

Key Club
is a service organization for the school and community sponsored by the Blue Spruce Kiwanis Club.Key Club's aim is the development of initiative, leadership, and good citizenship.It functions not only on the local level but also on the district and international level. All students are welcome to participate. The club meets every other Thursday in Mrs. DeBuhr's room.

Lunch Bunch - Molly Rehrig
Students participate in lunch and inspirational sharing at a local church. Students meet at the flagpole at the beginning of lunch on Wednesdays for transportation to the church.

Mock TrialThe Mock Trial competition is designed by the Colorado Bar Association to give students a hands-on experience of trial preparation and presentation of an actual legal case to a panel of judges and community leaders in a real courtroom. Students learn about the judicial system, court procedures and the legal system in regional competition.

National Honor Society - Karla Gordon
National Honor Society is an honorary organization open to eleventh and twelveth grade students who maintain a cumulative GPA of 4.0 and higher. Students must formally apply, demonstrate good citizenship, and complete a minimum number of community service hours each semester.  Meetings are every other Friday during lunch in Mr. Haebe's Room.

Outdoor Lab - Mary Handzel 
The high school outdoor lab leader will be selected after an interview process and successful completion of a training weekend at one of the outdoor lab sites.Trained students spend a week with 6th grade students as resident cabin leaders and will be asked to prepare several instructional sessions for the week.

Peace Jam -TBA
The club contributes to diversity and equity in order to insure respectful treatment of students and staff and to provide a climate where diversity is valued so that all students can succeed.

Science Club - Ann Thomas
Meets every other Wednesday in Mrs. Thomas' room at 8 AM. Click here for more information 

Spirit Squads 
Cheer leading - Shelby Foley 
Poms - Debbie Cooper 
Cheerleading and Poms are organized to help facilitate spirit and pride at EHS. Members are dedicated to helping support school activities and are the spirit leaders at pep rallies and athletic games.

Student Senate - Wendy Zechman
A student council activity and service group that helps promote spirit at Evergreen High School. Senate meets every Tuesday and Friday morning. Senate helps to organize many school functions throughout the year and builds professional leadership skills.

Teacher Mentor Program - Mary Handzel
Students who are juniors and seniors may request teacher mentorships through the counseling department.Teacher Mentors are assigned to an elementary or middle school during a regular class on their schedule.They will work with students in a classroom setting and be expected to assist the teacher as needed.Mentors will receive a grade from their supervising teacher and a 1/2 credit will be awarded for each semester.Regular attendance is extremely important.

Creative Writing Club - Mandy Cohara
A club for writers, editors, and critics who want to share or read onters' works. 

Yearbook - Kim Jordan
The yearbook staff prepares the school yearbook, which is distributed at the end of the school year. The goal of this group of dedicated, creative students is to prepare a professional product for the student body.
